The elections for the Van Nuys Neighborhood Council (VNNC) is coming and are looking for candidates to be a board representative in the Van Nuys area. Any Stakeholders who live, work, own property or declare a stake within the VNNC area and affirm a factual basis for it and who are 16 years or older can run and be a candidate for the VNNC positions.
The easiest way to file as a candidate is online. Here’s how:
- Go to http://empowerla.org/vnnc/van-nuys-nc-2014-election/
- Click on File Online tab in the right-hand column
- Fill out the online form and click Submit.

The neighborhood needs your participation and input. If you cannot be a candidate, then vote the stakeholder who you think could be the best representative in the Van Nuys Neighborhood on March 29th, 2014.
