DESCRIPTION:The Van Nuys Neighborhood Council will meet on Wednesday\, December 13\, 7pm at the Marvin Braude Constituent Building Conference Room\, 6262 Van Nuys Blvd. \nOn our agenda: \n\nThere will be two presentations from Metro. One is about the upcoming construction of improvements to the G Line (Orange Line). The other is about a “First/Last Mile” Plan for the Sepulveda station on the Orange line that will identify pedestrian-focused and wheel-mode-focused (bicycle\, scooter\, skateboard\, etc.) projects that improve access to the station.\nConsider submitting a Community Impact statement (CIS) opposing the City of LA’s Housing Element’s proposed rezoning and densification of R1 and multi-family neighborhoods.\nConsider submitting Community Impact Statements to support two motions by Councilmember Imelda Padilla that would require more community engagement and detailed planning regarding the Van Nuys Airport.\n\nVNNC 121323 GBM agenda
