SUMMARY:Orange Line Transit Neighborhood Plan
DESCRIPTION:The City of Los Angeles is proposing an update to the City’s land use plans to include new zoning\, and General Plan Land Uses\, which will shape development around three Metro Orange (G) Line stations in the eastern San Fernando Valley – Sepulveda\, Van Nuys\, and North Hollywood. This project\, known as the Orange (G) Line Transit Neighborhood Plan\, or OLTNP\, is a long-range planning effort that will introduce new zoning to portions of the North Hollywood-Valley Village and Van Nuys-North Sherman Oaks Community Plan areas. \nThe OLTNP aims to promote a variety of housing options for people of various income levels near transit\, create mixed-use neighborhoods with community serving businesses and amenities\, connect people to a variety of mobility options\, and facilitate transit ridership. Additionally\, the OLTNP proposes to implement design standards that support a healthy and safe public realm\, and support strategies that promote sustainable and resilient communities. Additionally\, updates are proposed to the City’s Mobility Plan 2035\, in the form of street redesignations and updates to the City’s Enhanced Transportation Networks. \nJoin Zoom Webinar:\nhttps://planning-lacity-org.zoom.us/j/81175557669\nor Dial by your location:\n+1 213 338 8477 or +1 669 900 9128\nWebinar/Meeting ID: 811 7555 7669 | Password: 759027\nThe Public Hearing is a formal opportunity for the public to provide comments on the proposed actions. No decisions will be made during the public hearing. Participants may join the Public Hearing online or by phone to offer testimony. In lieu of attending the Public Hearing\, comments may be submitted by email to planning.oltnp@lacity.org or hardcopy to 6262 Van Nuys Blvd\, Room 351\, Los Angeles\, CA\, 91401 until April 8\, 2026 at 5:00 PM \nFor more information about the OLTNP and to view an interactive zoning map\, visit:\nplanning.lacity.gov/plans-policies/oltnp \nzoning hearing
