DESCRIPTION:Please join East Valley Indivisibles and Temple Beth Hillel for “Becoming Heroes in a Time of Chaos”\, a forum with elected officials who represent the Valley at different levels of government on Thursday\, Feb. 20 from 7-9PM at Temple Beth Hillel. This is your chance to find out what our elected officials are doing to protect us all under the new administration and to learn what we as activists and citizens can do to help protect the most vulnerable. State Senator Caroline Menjivar\, Assemblymember Nick Schultz\, County Supervisor Lindsay Horvath\, Councilmember Nithya Raman and Congressmember Laura Friedman are among our confirmed guests. The forum will be moderated by Indivisible National Political Director Dani Negrete and is co-sponsored by LA Forward\, Northridge Indivisible\, Women’s Alliance LA\, Stand Strong LA and Interfaith Solidarity Network.
