DESCRIPTION:In-Person Meeting:\nWednesday\, January 29\, 2025\n6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. \nMeeting Location:\nThe Church on the Way Cornerstone Building (just east of Van Nuys Bl and Sherman Way) 14424 Sherman Way Van Nuys\, CA 91405 \nCome meet the 15 members of the Community Leadership Council (CLC) of the East San Fernando Valley Light Rail Transit (ESFV LRT) Project. The CLC is a group comprised of community leaders who will advise on and support outreach and engagement efforts throughout the construction of the project. \nThe ESFV LRT Project will improve connections and access to crucial destinations while connecting transit users to the growing transportation network in the San Fernando Valley. The Southern Segment of the project includes a 6.7-mile at-grade alignment that will operate in the center median of Van Nuys Bl\, from the Metro G Line Van Nuys Station to Van Nuys Bl and San Fernando Rd. \nReceive the latest updates on the ESFV LRT Project. Hear from our Project Team and other Metro departments as they provide project updates on community outreach activities\, draft Cultural Competency Plan\, and information on other available Metro programs.
