Agenda

8am Registration & Breakfast

8:30am Welcome

8:45am Keynote

9:15am Panel 1

Regional Disruptors: How mobility is and will continue to change with new ways of looking at old modes

10,000 more bikes? Robo-Taxis? No one owning their own cars? Bikes and cars aren’t new, and neither is how we use them… but that is changing very rapidly. This panel will look at the benefits and challenges of an expanded Bike share system, car and ride share services, and autonomous vehicles (self-driving cars). How these systems interact with existing and planned infrastructure make implementation sometimes uncertain. Looking at new ways of using our region’s streets will elucidate the path to the not-so-distant future.

10:30am Panel 2

Amplifying Regional Voices: How to increase the voices in the mobility discussion and advance the idea of mobility for the region

This panel discussion will examine the notion that voices in the regional mobility conversation can be expanded so that all are speaking with a coordinated voice.  This panel will share strategies with the attendees to engage more and diverse voices in the discussion of mobility for the region and will help explain the process of making your voice heard and working with diverse partners.

11:30am Closing Keynote
