NCSA invites all to Dec. 5 Neighborhood Council Climate Forum

The UN announced this week that the Paris Climate Summit will proceed on Nov. 30. Leaders across the globe, including President Obama and Mayor Garcetti, plan on attending to lay out their plans for confronting the growing dangers of climate change.

Locally, climate change is bringing wide-ranging effects on the health and welfare of Angelenos.

Please join the NCSA on Sat, Dec 5, to learn the latest about climate change challenges and solutions, from the City of Light to the City of Angels, and participate in a dialogue with local climate leaders.

Then, explore with us how Neighborhood Councils can build climate-resilient communities in LA and secure a healthy future. From climate advocacy to community education and project opportunities, you’ll leave feeling inspired and prepared to act.

Participating organizations:

Climate Resolve – Jonathan Parfrey, Executive Director
GRID Alternatives – Lidia Castelo and Sofia Ratcovich, Outreach Coordinators
